Late in the first half against San Jose State on Wednesday night, Nevada guard Josh Hall took a hard foul from behind while going up for a breakaway dunk.
San Jose State’s Brandon Mitchell, who delivered the fall, tried to apologize after the foul but Hall did not appear to be conscious after the hard fall onto his back.
Hall, a freshman, was stretchered off of the court following the fall.
Hall’s legs, armed and head were taped down to the stretcher, according to Chris Murray of the Reno Gazette-Journal.

No flagrant foul was called on the play.
Nevada has not commented or provided an update on the current status of Hall, but we will keep you updated with the latest information as soon as it becomes available. The good news, however, is that a positive update is expected, according to the paramedics.
Word from paramedics is they expect Josh Hall to be OK, which is great news considering how hard he was hit and how he was taken off court.
