Urban Meyer believes Ohio State will return to playoff next season

The Ohio State Buckeyes watched their 2016 campaign come to an embarrassing end, with a 31-0 loss to the Clemson Tigers in the Fiesta Bowl. It was the first time an Urban Meyer led team has been shut out in his head coaching career.
But despite the disappointing end to 2016, Meyer is feeling confident in the Buckeyes next season.
When speaking to ESPN’s Tom Rinaldi following Saturday night’s loss, Meyer shared his belief that Ohio State will be returning to the College Football Playoff in 2017-18.

Those may seem like lofty goals considering how the season just ended, but with a stellar 2017 recruiting class coming to Columbus — one of the best in recent memory — Ohio State could very well find themselves fighting for the national championship next season.
