Caylin Newton, Cam Newton’s brother, commits to Howard

Caylin Newton, the brother of former Auburn Tigers and current Carolina Panthers star Cam Newton, has made his college decision. This week, the younger Newton announced his commitment to the Howard Bison.

Newton, an undersized quarterback at 5-foot-11, 185-pounds, chose Howard over Hampton, Kentucky Christian and Savannah State.

The three-star signal-caller announced his commitment on social media.

This season, the Grady High School standout threw for 3,322 yards, 33 touchdowns and eight interceptions, while adding  1,036 yards and 13 touchdowns on the ground.
