NFL Rookie of the Year finalists announced

On Tuesday, the NFL announced its five finalists for Rookie of the Year, with four players coming out of the NFC and one representing the AFC.
As you would expect, the two rookies who helped the Dallas Cowboys claim a No. 1 seed in the playoffs — Dak Prescott and Ezekiel Elliott — were among the five finalists.
The five players are:

  • Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott
  • Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa
  • Falcons linebacker Deion Jones
  • Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz
  • Cowboys running back Ezekiel Elliott

Elliott, who led the NFL in rushing, should be the front-runner to bring home award.
