USC football suspends Matt Boermeester amidst code of conduct investigation

The USC football program has suspended its Rose Bowl hero, kicker Matt Boermeester, amidst a code of conduct investigation.
According to Joey Kaufman of The OC Register, Boermeester will be suspended indefinitely and cannot represent the university until the investigation is complete.
There were no actual details into what the investigation involves.
“While this student code of conduct issue is being investigated, the student will not be representing the university as a member of its athletic team,” a statement from the university read.
Boermeester was USC’s hero in the Rose Bowl, converting a 46-yard field goal to secure the Trojans’ impressive comeback win.
