In a rivalry that appears alive and well, North Carolina’s Joel Carter was certainly talking the rivalry talk. The two teams are set to play on Thursday in what is an important game for both sides.
North Carolina will begin its push in hopes of securing a no. 1 seed in next months tournament, while Duke hopes to build on its four game win streak.
With so much riding on the line and both teams playing well, Berry didn’t mince around when talking about the upcoming challenge.
I appreciate how matter of fact Joel Berry is. From yesterday: "Since I've been here, I've had a great deal of hatred against Duke."

The Tar Heels haven’t been able to muster much success in Berry’s tenure, though. That might be adding fuel to his Blue Devils hatred. The junior is 1-3 against Duke and appears ready to turn the tide in the rivalry. They faltered in their first game at Duke last season, before scratching out a 76-72 win in their last meeting.
Today’s ACC matchup is nothing short of must-watch television.
