Johns Hopkins Lacrosse Wins Game With Hidden-Ball Trick

|

Lost in the shuffle of NBA All-Star Weekend was a remarkable win from the Johns Hopkins lacrosse team.

While taking on No. 9 Loyola Maryland on Saturday, No. 5 Johns Hopkins executed their second hidden-ball trick of the month to upend the Greyhounds 14-13 in overtime.

Johns Hopkins midfielder Joel Tinney once again faked the pass which drew four defenders away from him.

As a result, Tinney had a wide open shot at the goal and nailed the game-winner.

Nothing like the hidden ball trick to win in OT! 👌#SCtop10

It was Tinney’s 33rd career goal in just 21 games.

With two hidden-ball tricks in the shortest month of the year, we can’t wait to see what Tinney has in store for the month of March.
