The Syracuse basketball team got a big win over No. 10 Duke in dramatic fashion on Wednesday night.
With just six seconds remaining in the game, the Orange and Blue Devils were tied at 75 points a piece. That is when senior guard John Gillon came through in the clutch.
Gillon drove the ball down the court and pulled up from outside of the arc.
The shot left his hands just before the buzzer and banked off of the backboard through the hoop to give Syracuse a huge 78-75 upset win.
Here is the wild finish:
The win moves Syracuse to 17-12 on the season, while the Blue Devils fall to 22-6.
Next up for the Orange is a road meeting with Louisville on Sunday, Feb. 26. Tip-off is set for 2 p.m. ET on CBS. Duke, meanwhile, returns to action against Miami on Saturday. That game will take place at 4 p.m. ET on CBS.
