Jameis Winston Taking Online Classes To Finish Florida State Degree

Former Florida State quarterback Jameis Winston is working to finish his degree.
According to a report from the Tampa Bay Times, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signal-caller is taking online classes this spring as he works towards finishing off what he started in Tallahassee.
Winston was a social sciences major with a minor in business.
“I’m taking classes right now. I’m focusing on graduating college. That’s a big accomplishment,” Winston told students at Melrose Elementary in St. Petersburg on Wednesday. “I’ve got to get my mama that degree. How many of you are going to get your mama that degree?”
Winston says he took online classes last summer and he is continuing to do so this spring and summer.
In total, he has around 26 credit-hours to go.
Winston ended his time at Florida State following his redshirt sophomore season. He went on to become the No. 1 overall pick in the 2015 NFL Draft and was named a Pro Bowler and NFL Rookie of the Year during his first year in the pros.
