Baker Mayfield arrest: Details, charges and everything you need to know.
Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield is in trouble with the law.
Early Saturday morning, the Oklahoma quarterback was arrested and booked on four charges in Fayetteville, Arkansas.
According to the Washington County Cheriff’s Office, Mayfield was charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, fleeing and resisting arrest.
Oklahoma commented on the situation with your typically vague statement, saying, “We are aware of the matter and are learning the details. We don’t have any other information at this time.”
ESPN reported details of the arrest, which includes Mayfield being covered in food, yelling profanities at the officers and running away before being tackled to the ground. Mayfield was then placed in handcuffs and taken to the Washington County Detention Facility.

We will have to wait and see what type of punishment, if any, Mayfield receives from the program.
