If anyone is able to break the 40-yard dash record at the 2017 NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, they will receive much more than their name in the record books.
On Monday, adidas announced they will buy an island for any player who is able to break the 4.24 time set by former East Carolina running back Chris Johnson.
That’s right.
If you can become the fastest man in NFL Scouting Combine history, you will be the proud owner of your own island.
Paradise awaits.

That’s a pretty sweet deal.
The record was set by Johnson in 2008. He went on to become the No. 24 overall pick in the draft thanks to the Tennessee Titans.
Last year, adidas offered up $1 million to anyone who could break the record.
I’d say the 2017 combine participants have a much sweeter prize.
