USC's Sam Darnold, A 2018 Prospect, Is Biggest Talk Of The NFL Combine

Sam Darnold won’t be at showcasing his skills at the NFL Combine for at least another year.
That apparently isn’t stopping the young stud quarterback at USC from jumping off screen in the film room while scouts are studying other players.
Darnold won’t be eligible for the draft until the 2018, but the physical tools and the immediate impact he had on the Trojans last season is hard to ignore. After failing to win the starting job at the beginning of the season, Darnold was handed the keys to the car once USC started the season 1-2.
He managed to reel off nine consecutive wins, including a thrilling comeback in the Rose Bowl against Penn State in which he went 10-for-10 in the fourth quarter and rallied back from a 14 point deficit.

The combine is just under way so it might be too early to sort out who the winners and losers are at this juncture, but for Darnold, he has to be liking the press he’s getting while absent.
