Ohio State Football Recruiting Snafu Makes 4-Star WR Reconsider

The Ohio State football recruiting staff has some explaining to do.
While sending out mail to some of the top recruits in the nation, the Buckeyes made a mistake in a letter sent to four-star wide receiver Jacob Copeland.
While Jacob is a pretty common name, the Ohio State staff had a mixup and addressed the letter to “Jason.”
While speaking with Rivals, Copeland said the snafu has him thinking twice about the Buckeyes.
“Lol man I don’t even know,” he wrote to Rivals.com in a text message. “That made me think twice.”
Copeland, a 6-foot-1 pass catcher from Pensacola, Florida, is currently rated as the No. 9 player at his position and the tenth-ranked recruit in the state of Florida, according to 247 Sports. Florida State, Florida and Miami are considered the favorites.
