The Big 12 Tournament has been a wild ride since tipping off on Wednesday and it all comes to a close with Saturday evening’s championship matchup between Iowa State and West Virginia.
The tournament was turned on its head right out of the gate when No. 1 seed Kansas fell to TCU on Thursday. That opened the door for the other teams to swoop in and take the conference crown. The Cyclones and Mountaineers are the two left standing.
No. 2 seed West Virginia made its way to the conference championship game with wins over Texas and Kansas State.
No. 4 Iowa State, meanwhile, knocked off No. 5 Oklahoma State and the early darlings of the tournament, No. 8 TCU, to punch their ticket to the final game before the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
It promises to be a thrilling end to a wild tournament on Saturday.
