Tempers flared following today’s Kobalt 400, with Kyle Busch and Joey Logano getting into a fistfight on pit road.
Busch was apparently upset with Logano for contact that was made during the race. Busch said he believes the contact was intentional and that Logano “flat out wrecked me.”
Because of his hurt feelings, Busch decided to strut up to Logano and start throwing bombs.
Unfortunately for Busch, none of the shots landed, Logano got in some of his own, and then Busch was tackled to the ground. When he got up, he had a busted open face to go along with his bruised ego.

And just to show how savage Joey Logano is, he had this brilliant remark when asked about the fight and whether any punches landed.

Boom. That’s another L for Kyle Busch.
But while Logano came away without a scratch, it’s very likely that NASCAR will punish the two men for their exchange. That’s why Logano was trying to do some damage control and insist he didn’t intentionally wreck Busch.
“There wasn’t too much talking, just a lot of swinging,” Logano told FOX Sports. “I was racing him right there at the end with our Pennzoil Ford. … Kyle and I usually race really well together and don’t have any issues. He tried to pin me down into the corner underneath Brad. We about crashed and I was still trying to gather it up in the center. I was going to spin out, so I’m trying to chase it up (the track) and he was there.
“It wasn’t intentional, but obviously he thinks that. So I don’t know.”
He did make the conscious decision to crack him in the face afterwards, though.
