The NCAA Tournament is set to kick off on Tuesday with a double-header to kickoff the First Four.
As the betting money continues to pour in, North Carolina has pulled out in front as the odds-on favorite to finish the tournament on top.
The Tar Heels have surpassed in-state rival and conference foe Duke as the favorites.
According to Westgate Las Vegas Superbook, the Tar Heels are now 5-to-1 favorites, while the Kansas Jayhawks sit at 6-to-1. Defending national champion Villanova, the tournament’s No. 1 overall seed, has 8-to-1 odds.

Florida State, Purdue and West Virginia hold fast at 30-t0-1 odds, representing outside chance, though not altogether impossible. Purdue is a No. 4 seed in this tournament and has an experienced team and the one of the best players in the NCAA this season, Caleb Swanigan.
