USF's Hassan Childs Arrested For Aggravated Assault After Being Shot 3 Times

USF football player Hassan Childs had a weekend to forget.
After a road rage incident that left Childs with three gunshot wounds, he was arrested by Tampa police on three counts of aggravated assault and one count of misdemeanor marijuana possession.
According to Jenna Laine of ESPN, Childs got out of his vehicle and approached the vehicle of Jovanni Jimenez.
Jimenez, the man who shot Childs, claims self-defense after Childs reportedly approached his vehicle and pointed a gun at Jimenez, his wife and the couple’s three-year-old child.

Jimenez says he “feared for his life,” so he fired off three shots, hitting Childs in the upper arm and torso.
Police then searched Childs’ vehicle where they found a loaded gun and 20 grams of marijuana.
