Just a few hours ago, Luke Maye lifted the UNC basketball team to the Final Four of the 2017 NCAA Tournament thanks to an incredible buzzer-beating shot to top the Kentucky Wildcats.
While he could have continued to bask in his glory, he celebrated his career-defining moment by making the trek across the Chapel Hill campus to show up for his 8:00 a.m. ET Business 101 class.
As you would expect, Maye received a hero’s welcome from his classmates.
UNC student Jack Sewell tweeted out a video of awesome moment as Maye, still rocking his South Region championship hat, acknowledged the praise.
