Michael Kidd-Gilchrist Forced To Wear UNC Jacket After Losing Bet

Credit Michael Kidd-Gilchrist for following through on his word.
Kidd-Gilchrist, who plays alongside fellow Hornets wingman Marvin Williams, was forced to wear a North Carolina Tar Heels jacket after they defeated the Kentucky Wildcats in their meeting in the Elite Eight.
Kidd-Gilchrist, who attended Kentucky and graduated in 2012 placed a bet with his teammate that his alma mater would emerge victorious in the juggernaut matchup. He was wrong.
Have you ever seen someone look so miserable?

Both Kidd-Gilchrist and Williams won National Championships in their lone year with their colleges. However, this year, Williams Tar Heels have moved on to the Final Four and are tasked with beating a talented and experienced Oregon team.
Meanwhile, Kidd-Gilchrist and his Kentucky Wildcats will look to retool for next season.
Of course, there is always the fact that the Hornets currently sit seven games under .500 and have already lost any realistic chance of making a postseason appearance. That’ll probably stick in Kidd-Gilchrists craw more than wearing this jacket.
