Two Montana State Football Players Arrested On Felony Drug Charges

Two Montana State football players have been arrested on felony drug charges.
According to a report from the Bozeman Daily Chroniclethe two members of the program who were arrested are Naijiel Hale and Darren Gardenhire. A third man, Christopher Flanagan, who is a student at Montana State, was also arrested.
Hale and Gardenhire have been suspended from the football team.
The players were reportedly selling Xanax.
Hale is facing two counts of felony distribution of dangerous drugs, while Gardenhire is facing one count of the same charge along with a misdemeanor possession charge.
The two were set up by a confidential informant of the Missouri River Drug Task Force.
Neither player was a major contributor for Montana State and they both joined the Bobcats after transferring from Washington.
