LaVar Ball Is Worst Thing To Happen To Basketball In Last 100 Years, Says Nike Exec

No one really likes LaVar Ball.
The UCLA basketball superdad continuously makes outrageous claims — like his son, Bruins star Lonzo, will be better than Stephen Curry and that he could beat Michael Jordan in a one-on-one game — and his shtick has been wearing thin on people.
One of those people is an executive with Nike.
And according to that executive, Ball’s antics are one of the worst things to ever happen to the game.

“The worst thing to happen to basketball in the last hundred years,” Raveling said of Ball at the CAA World Congress of Sport, according to SportsBusiness Journal’s Michael Smith.
Ouch.
There have also been reports that other parents at UCLA are unhappy and annoyed by LaVar Ball, but he has more sons coming to the program so they better get used to him.
It’s going to be a long and bumpy ride.
