Randy Moss’ on has found his new home.
On Sunday, former NC State tight end Thaddeus Moss announced he will be transferring to Ed Orgeron’s LSU football program. The move comes just one day after Moss visited the Tigers’ Spring Game and met with the coaching staff.
Moss made it very clear that he’s buying what Orgeron is selling.
“I just committed to Coach O,” Moss told Shea Dixon of 247 Sports. “He was ready for it. They are definitely really excited for me right now.
“I love Coach O. I love his energy. He’s all about his players. He really incorporates a family environment. I really like that. And it’s been great getting to know Coach Ensminger. He has a great background, and he’s been around the game a long time.”
As a freshman last season, Moss caught six passes for 49 yards and a touchdown for the Wolfpack.
Moss will be forced to sit out the 2017 college football season to satisfy NCAA transfer rules, before suiting up for LSU in 2018. The 6-foot-3, 240-pounder will have three years of eligibility remaining.
