Kentucky Basketball: Pitt Transfer Cameron Johnson To Visit Wednesday

The Kentucky basketball program will be hosting a big time transfer target later this week.
According to reports, Pittsburgh Panthers graduate transfer Cameron Johnson is set to visit the Wildcats on Wednesday. Johnson has two years of eligibility remaining and would be able to suit up for Kentucky immediately.
Jeff Goodman of ESPN was first to report the news.

The 6-foot-8 guard would be a major boost for the Wildcats, who have seen a mass exodus of underclassmen leaving the program for the 2017 NBA Draft this offseason.
During his final year at Pitt, Johnson was third on the Panthers in scoring with 11.9 points per game, while adding 4.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists.
