Playing football for Jim Harbaugh is a heckuva’ lotta’ fun.
That might be what has led to the quick turnaround in Ann Arbor, and why the talented-elite have been flocking to the football powerhouse since the day of his arrival.
This year, he took his entire football team to Rome for a week of spring practice.
While there, he’s been every bit of Jim Harbaugh as you would expect him to be. Here, he rates a slice of pizza made fresh in the pizza motherland along with quarterback Wilton Speight.

9.7! That’s almost 10!
Italian pizza is significantly different than it’s American counter-part. Thinner, with less sauce, the difference is often a surprise to many visiting American tourists. But Harbaugh is an educated man of refined taste who drinks milk with his steak, his incredibly high rating for the slice isn’t a surprise.
The trip to Rome is a unique perk Harbaugh was able to swing for his players this spring. He drew criticism last year for taking them to the IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL. He has said that he wanted this trip to be as much about football, as it was about opening the players up to another part of the world and expanding their horizons.
