Nick Saban was probably seeing Deshaun Watson drop dimes in-between defenders in his dreams for weeks following the National Championship this year.
After his Alabama Crimson Tide were dominant against everyone they played all year, Watson chopped the Crimson Tide defense to bits in the games biggest game of the season en route to winning the national title.
That is part of the reason why Nick Saban is so perplexed why many are doubting Deshaun Watson’s ability to play at a high level in the NFL.
Speaking with ESPN before the NFL draft began, Saban described himself as being “mind-boggled”.
Nick Saban on Sports Center talking about DW: " It’s really sort of mind-boggling to me that people are having concerns about his future."

Watson won’t be taken first overall, that is a certainty at this point. But exactly where he will fall remains a matter of conjecture.
In one of the harder to predict drafts in a number of years, Watson could go in the top 10, he might fall deep into the first round. He will likely be the second quarterback off the board behind North Carolina’s Mitch Trubisky.
With the draft due to kick off, let the madness unfold!
