Garett Bolles was a self-described “lost kid.”
After a troubled youth being expelled from five different schools, the Utah football product was selected 20th overall by the Denver Bronco’s. While Bolles’ story is an inspirational one, the real story here is the baby Bolles that accompanied him to the stage as he met with Goodell at the podium.
Bolles’ appearance with his baby was both heartwarming and head-scratching. Man onlookers were left saying “aww…hmmm?”

In his post-selection interview, Bolles mentioned that his baby would “remember this moment for the rest of his life”. While this is certainly a memorable moment in daddy Bolles’ life, the chances of his baby remembering even a scrap of information from tonight are slim.
Bolles did mention that he is willing to lend his time and efforts to any young person who is experiencing hardship, just DM him on his Twitter. At 25 years old, he is one of the older rookies to enter the NFL draft in some time. Regardless of how he performs at the NFL level, it appears the Broncos drafted a top-tier character with their first round selection.
