Boston Celtics guard Isaiah Thomas is having a rough start to Game 1 of the team’s second-round series against the Washington Wizards.
Not only did the Celtics quickly find themselves in a deep hole — trailing by 14 points after the first quarter — but Thomas took an elbow from Wizards forward Otto Porter Jr. directly to the face.
When replays were slowed down to show the contact, you could actually see Thomas’ tooth fly out of his mouth.
Here it is in slow motion:

Pretty wild, right?
But don’t worry. Thomas immediately walked over to his tooth and picked it up off of the court, so we don’t have to be concerned that a player will accidentally go falling on a tooth.
