VIDEO: Jimmy Kimmel Brilliantly Responds To Critics Of Health Care Monologue

Last night, Jimmy Kimmel returned to his late-night show and wasted no time in addressing the high volume of criticism he’s be enduring. With many accusing the late-night host of venturing too deep into political waters, Kimmel had no apologies for anyone has has an issue with what he said.

Kimmel’s newborn son Billy was born with a congenital heart disease, which has taken its toll on the family.

Thankfully, Kimmel is able to afford the numerous surgeries and treatments his son needs to be able to live a happy life. But what if he didn’t have all that money? What would he do then?

That was the basis of Kimmel’s comments, and what start the firestorm in the first place.

This could be the beginning of a new face of Kimmel’s career.

While he’s never been shy about approaching hot-button issues in the past, the fact that this one touches so close to home makes it very different. With the status, platform, and money necessary to try and institute some change, don’t expect Kimmel to go back to business as usual anytime soon.
