Arizona Basketball: 5-Star Commit Emmanuel Akot Reclassifies To 2017

Good news continues to pour in for the Arizona basketball program.
On Monday, Evan Daniels of Scout.com reported five-star commit Emmanuel Akot has reclassified and will join the Wildcats in the Class of 2017.
I chose to reclass because I know I’m ready,” Akot told the website. “I want to get better and I know I will get pushed everyday at Arizona. I’ll be on a really good team too so this is a great opportunity for me.”
The news comes one day after Arizona star Rawle Alkins announced he would be withdrawing from the 2017 NBA Draft and returning to the Wildcats for another season.
Akot, a 6-foot-7 standout from Wasatch Academy in Mount Pleasant, Utah, is the No. 4 ranked small forward in his class and a top 15 recruit in the nation.
Akot held seven offers from schools like Louisville, Oregon and Utah.
