Warriors Reportedly Unanimously Decide To Skip White House Visit

The Golden State Warriors won the 2017 NBA Finals on Monday night, with another impressive win over the Cleveland Cavaliers.
When major sports teams in the United States win a national championship, tradition usually leads to a ceremony at the White House with the sitting president. That won’t be the case with Golden State, however.
According to multiple reports, the Warriors have unanimously decided to skip any White House visit.

That is the strongest political statement we have seen from a sports franchise in the Trump Administration to-date.
Multiple members of the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots decided to skip their White House visit with Trump, but the Warriors will be the first team to unanimously boycott.
Considering Steve Kerr’s comments on Donald Trump in the past, this comes as no surprise.
