Florida Football Recruiting: 5-Star QB Justin Fields To Visit This Weekend

There is some great news for Gators fans on the Florida football recruiting trail, with five-star quarterback Justin Fields set to visit the program over the weekend.
Fields, who is ranked the No. 1 dual-threat quarterback in the nation and the No. 3 overall player, recently decommitted from Penn State in order to find a landing spot closer to his family in Georgia.
That will lead to a Florida visit this weekend, according to SEC Country.
Since decommitting from Penn State, Fields has made visits with Georgia, Auburn and Florida State.
Next up on the schedule for the highly-touted quarterback is the NFA7v7 National Championship at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida this weekend before visiting the Gators.
Florida is now believed to be the favorite to land the top prospect.
While Fields will not make the jump to a Division I program until next season, he reportedly plans to decide on his future home before beginning his senior year at Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Georgia.
