Clemson Sweater Has The Most Coincidental Typo Ever

Clemson finally emerged victorious over the Alabama Crimson Tide in last year’s College Football Playoff National Championship Game. After getting as close as possible to being crowned National Champions the year before, the Tigers finally sealed the deal in 2017.

That’s part of what makes this sweater so intriguing.

Is it a typo? An accidental misprint caused by the negligence of an employee at the collegiate athletic apparel store factory? Or the greatest, must-have burn sweatshirt for the devoted Clemson Tigers fan.

It’s probably both.

Of all the typos, this one is a curious one. In all likelihood, someone who doesn’t know a lick about college football was making these and copied the wrong word onto the hoodie. Obviously, they wouldn’t be able to sell these in the US, so they send them elsewhere.

They used to do the same thing with the shirts and sweaters of the losing team in a championship.

If this friend has any business sense, he’ll by the stock of them. Ask if there are more in the back; then go to town on resale markups when he gets back to the States. These might be able to pull in a pretty penny if you find a devoted enough Clemson fan.
