Rivals Wanderlei Silva and Chael Sonnen, who are set to headline Bellator NYC Saturday night on pay-per-view live from Madison Square Garden, nearly got into a scuffle during the pre-fight press conference on Thursday morning.
The two men exchanged barbs throughout the press conference as they promoted their fight, before finally coming face-to-face for a staredown after its conclusion.
When the two men were able to get into each others faces, the trash talk immediately began before Silva shoved Sonnen to spark a reaction.
Luckily, security was on stage and able to immediately defuse the situation.
