The match ups between the ACC and the Big 10 for the 2017-18 season have been announced. On Monday, the match ups, as well as the dates they’ll be held were released. The games will take place over the course of four days, concluding with the Notre Dame vs. Michigan State game on November 30th.
The biggest surprise in plain sight is the obvious mismatch between Rutgers and Florida State. Rutgers won only 15 games last season, while Florida State went 26-9 and made a tournament appearance.
Northwestern is coming off of their first tournament appearance in the 2016-17 season. Their matchup against Georgia Tech presents one of the few opportunities for the Big Ten to come away with a victory in any of these games.
For the most part, the edge goes to the more powerful ACC.

Duke and Indiana constitute the marquee match ups. Both are premier brands in the world of college basketball and at or near the top of their conference.
