Cincinnati Football Player Alex Thomas Arrested For Aggravated Robbery

Cincinnati football player Alex Thomas is in trouble with the law.
According to a report from the Associated Press, the 20-year-old junior cornerback was arrested and charged for an alleged attempted armed robbery.
Thomas, along with 23-year-old Julie Holton, were charged with aggravated robbert for allegedly attempting to steal another man’s marijuana, though they only made away with the victim’s keys.
Thomas was involved in the alleged robbery, but reportedly was not the one on surveillance holding a gun.
Cincinnati has since suspended Thomas indefinitely.
An official statement from the university said Thomas’ status “will be addressed following the resolution of the legal process.” The school had no further comment on the situation.
As a sophomore in 2016, Thomas recorded four interceptions in ten starts.
