UPDATE: Amanda Nunes is off of UFC 213 and the UFC must offer ticket refunds, per Nevada State Athletic Commission rules.

The UFC 213 main event is in danger after UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes was admitted into the hospital.
Rumors began swirling early Saturday afternoon that Nunes was off of the card. Nunes was reportedly admitted to the hospital following Friday night’s ceremonial weigh-ins after falling ill.
Any photos and mentions of her weight cut have been deleted from her social media accounts.
In the meantime, the UFC is working to salvage the main event title fight against Valentina Shevchenko, though it is very unlikely the Nevada State Athletic Commission would clear a fighter who was hospitalized hours earlier.
The UFC 213 main card — which also features an interim middleweight title fight between Yoel Romero and Robert Whittaker — begins at 10:00 p.m. ET.
Stay tuned for more updates as the story continues to develop.
