International Fight Week is wrapping up with UFC 213: Nunes vs. Shevchenko 2 on Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The event comes just 24 hours after a wild TUF 25 Finale which was capped off by an epic Fight of the Year candidate between UFC newcomer Justin Gaethje and Michael Johnson. After two nearly rounds of back-and-forth action, Gaethje earned the stoppage victory.
Now, it’s time for the UFC to head to pay-per-view for a championship double-header on Saturday night.
In the main event, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes looks to continue her run atop the 135-pound division as she defends her title against Valentina Shevchenko, who she previously defeated early in their UFC careers.
The co-main event is an interim middleweight title fight between two red hot 185-pounders, Robert Whittaker and Yoel Romero.
