TUF Finale 25 Results: Justin Gaethje Stops Michael Johnson In Epic Brawl

|

The UFC’s TUF 25 Finale on Friday night ended with a bang, thanks to a thrilling performance from Justin Gaethje and Michael Johnson in the main event.

Gaethje and Johnson went back-and-forth in an epic brawl that lasted just over nine minutes. Despite the short duration of the bout, the two men put on a Fight of the Year performance. Ultimately, Gaethje’s wild pace and constant pressure was too much for Johnson, who had the ref step in to save him at 4:48 of Round 2.

There were only three other finishes on the card, but two were very notable.

In the co-main event, Jesse Taylor earned the ultimate redemption and TUF 25 season crown with a dominant win over Dhiego Lima that ended with a rear-naked choke early in the second round. Earlier in the night, Tecia Torres also locked in a slick rear-naked choke to earn the first victory of stoppage of her career.

The other finish came courtesy of Jared Cannonier, who earned a late TKO victory over Nick Roehrick in violent fashion.
