We haven’t heard much about the film since it was initially announced, but now we have a first-look at Pacino portraying Paterno for the upcoming film.
On Sunday, HBO sent out a photo that shows a remarkable resemblance between the actor and coach.

“The film centers on Joe Paterno, who, after becoming the winningest coach in college football history, is embroiled in Penn State’s Jerry Sandusky sexual abuse scandal, challenging his legacy and forcing him to face questions of institutional failure regarding the victims,” HBO said in a statement, via Deadline.com.
There is currently no release date set for the film.
