The Tallahassee Quarterback Club is the annual sponsor and presenter of the Biletnikoff Award, presented annually to the top wide receiver in the country.
On Tuesday, they announced the preseason list of players eligible for to win the award for best receiver in the country.
Any player, regardless of position (wide receiver, running back, tight end, etc) is eligible to win the award. However, given that a wide receivers primary duty is pass-catching, it is unusual to see it go elsewhere.
The BA recognizes the outstanding receiver regardless of position. Wide receivers, tight ends, slot backs, and running backs are eligible.
