Who’s ready for some Texas A&M football?
On Wednesday, a new hype video released by a YouTuber named “Cold Chedda” should be enough to get any Aggies fan on their feet and ready to hit something.
The video starts with some pushing and sliding of the camera around the facilities at Kyle Field. A pulsating inspirational speech given by defensive coordinator John Chavis crescendos into footage of A&M in action.
The video focuses mainly on returning A&M players who they team will be counting on in 2017.
The Aggies are looking to take a decisive step forward in their sixth season under Kevin Sumlin. They haven’t managed to notch double-digit wins since they were quarterbacked by a fellow named Johnny Football.
That was in Sumlin’s first season as head coach.
Since then, the Aggies have played to the middle of the ultra-competitive SEC. They were 8-5 last season, their third consecutive year finishing with that record. They have a record of 44-21 since coming over to the SEC from the Big 12.
