The Ole Miss football program is in search of a new head coach and Les Miles appears willing to throw his hat in the ring.
According to a report from Dan Wolken of USA Today Sports on Saturday evening, the former LSU head coach is interested in the Rebels vacancy. The job opened after Hugh Freeze’s resignation when it was revealed he used his work phone to contact a number tied to an escort service.
Not only is Miles interested in a potential return to the SEC, Wolken states he is simply interested in any Power Five job.
Having said that, Les would be interested in any Power 5 job. There simply wasn't much of a market for him last cycle.

It’s a bit of a surprise that a coach with as high of a profile as Miles would be interested in taking over a team that has a self-imposed bowl ban and looming sanctions in the midst of a serious NCAA investigation, but it speaks about Miles’ desire to get back on the sideline.
Miles, who was 114-34 with a national championship during his time at LSU, was fired last season after a lackluster 2-2 start for the Tigers.
