The USC football program scored big on the recruiting trail over the weekend.
On Sunday night, four-star quarterback JT Daniels, who is the top-ranked pro-style quarterback in the Class of 2019, announced he has committed to the Trojans.
Daniels, who is a standout at Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Calif., announced his decision on social media.

The 6-foot-2 Daniels chose USC over programs like Stanford and Michigan.
Along with being the top player at his position in his class, Daniels is the No. 2 prospect in the state of California regardless of position and the No. 4 overall player in the nation.
It’s a major get for Clay Helton’s program and will set the Trojans up to have Sam Darnold’s eventual replacement firmly in place.
