Chris Christie hasn’t done himself a lot of favors when it comes to winning over the hearts of the American people. He is generally disliked for perceived hypocrisy in his politics, and has become something of a punching bag when making public appearances.
After Christie was being heckled by a Cubs fan while attending Cubs vs. Brewers game on Sunday, he decided he’d had enough.
A man sitting several rows back yelled out “Hey Christie! You Suck!” Apparently the New Jersey Governor was willing to let it go the first time, but after the fan repeated himself, he decided he’d had enough.
Video of him storming up to the man, getting right in his face, and asking him if he “wanted to start something” went viral on the interweb. The heckler appears terrified in the video, and backed off without a whimper.
On Monday, Christie went on CNN and addressed the issue directly.

Regardless of what way you lean politically, it’s hard to argue with his logic.
Public servants, much like professional athletes or other celebrities, are often treated as if they are super/sub-human; impervious to detrimental behavior.
If you can manage to put politics aside, it’s difficult to have issue with a man who defended himself head-on while his son was in his company.
