Workouts are ramping up as college football teams across the nation open up camps in preparation of the upcoming season. For UNC football player Jalen Dalton, that provided an opportunity to show the hard work he’s been putting in all season.
Last week, Tar Heels players were in the weight room and assistant strength and conditioning coach A.J. Blue, who used to play running back for UNC, was especially blown away by Dalton’s performance.
Blue took to Twitter to show Dalton’s impressive lifts which included a whopping 400 pound hang clean.

That’s some impressive work from the defensive lineman. If the rest of his teammates have been putting in the same effort throughout the offseason, the Tar Heels could be set up for an exciting 2017 campaign.
UNC opens the season on Saturday, Sept. 2 against Cal.
