Does Jon Jones Have Plans To Work With The WWE?

UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones called out WWE champion Brock Lesnar immediately following his win over Daniel Cormier at UFC 214 last weekend.
Lesnar, who the media usually struggles to get a hold of, immediately responded to the challenge.
Many believe that this could mean the two men eventually square off inside of the Octagon if Lesnar makes a return to the UFC when his WWE contract expires, but could there be another angle we are overlooking?
Recently, legendary WWE broadcaster Jim Ross weighed-in on the Jones-Lesnar saga and gave an interesting take.
Ross wrote “word on the street” is Jones is “interested in a WWE payday some day in the future.”

He added, “Athletes are arguably smarter today than ever before and they realize that these massive paydays are not going to last forever. Plus the fact that no one ever has ‘enough money’ contrary to public sentiment from those who actually don’t have enough money.”
Does this mean we could be seeing a UFC-WWE crossover with Jones making an appearance in the ring?
We’ve seen Ronda Rousey previously make a WWE appearance at WrestleMania and current UFC women’s featherweight champion Cris Cyborg has been going back and forth with Becky Lynch regarding a SummerSlam match, so it will be interesting to see if something is coming.
Who knows, maybe Vince McMahon and Dana White have put their differences behind and could be coming up with a plan that will make money for everyone involved.
