VIDEO: Dylan Cantrell Pranks Texas Tech Teammates & Coaches

Texas Tech might not be the biggest powerhouse in the country, but they appear to be keep things pretty loose around the facility ahead of the 2017 season.
They’re certainly having a lot of fun during media days.
Noted team prankster and wide receiver Dylan Cantrell took full advantage of the inane interviews that the players all have to sit down for. After you’ve done four or five interviews in one day, it’s a little easier to fall prey to one of your wisecracking teammates. That’s exactly what happens here.
Cantrell, pretending to be a member of the media conducting a phone interview from a distance, asks his teammates and coaches to answer a few ridiculous questions before eventually bringing their attention to the fact that he is standing a few feet away.
Seeing Cantrell with a phone pressed to his ear and a huge grin on his face pretty much tips them off every time.

Based on a number of their reactions, you can tell Cantrell has a reputation for being the team prankster.
Hands down though, the coach at the beginning of the video is the best one. He says he’s “too smart” to fall victim to a fake interview prank at the hands of Cantrell, only to find out he’s done exactly that seconds later.
If the Red Raiders are able to keep this kind of buoyancy on the field, they could improve on last seasons 5-7 record.
