Jim Harbaugh is one of the most entertaining personalities in all of sports and has been giving fans an up-close look at what it’s like to be the Michigan football coach thanks to his new YouTube account.
Harbaugh has been sharing videos throughout the summer, but his latest offers a rare look behind the curtain in Ann Arbor.
Over the weekend, Harbaugh took to the interweb to share a video of his phone call with Michigan legend Charles Woodson. During the call, Harbaugh invites the former Heisman Trophy winner to serve as the Wolverines’ honorary captain for this year’s rivalry game against Ohio State.
As you would expect, Woodson immediately accepted the offer.
“You had me at hello,” Woodson said “I’m all over that. That’s the one game I had marked on my schedule I was going to try to get to. That makes it even better. I’m all in. I thoroughly appreciate that.”
What promises to be a great night for Michigan fans just got even sweeter. Let’s just hope for Harbaugh’s sake that Woodson gives the Wolverines the extra motivation they need to get a win over Ohio State for the first time in Harbaugh’s tenure.
Michigan opens its 2017 campaign with a major clash against Florida on Saturday, Sept. 2.
