ESPN's Ryen Russillo Arrested In Wyoming For Criminal Entry

While on vacation in the great outdoors, Ryen Rusillo might have had a little too much fun on vacation. It’s incredible how quickly you can become part of the news cycle, rather than being the one that is reporting it.
The host of The Russillo Show was booked on a charge of criminal entry in Teton County, Wyoming.
Details of the arrest continue to pour in, but it appears that Russillo’s arrest was a case of vacation drunkenness gone too far. Here’s what we know, according to the Jackson Hole News & Guide:

Officers were called around 3:30 a.m. to a condo in the 500 block of Snow King Loop for a report of a “highly intoxicated male who was refusing to leave.”

Two people were asleep in the condo when they heard someone come in. They didn’t know the man and asked him to leave because he was drunk, according to reports. Police arrived a few minutes later.

“Occupants pointed the suspect out who was found in a bedroom,” Jackson Police Lt. Roger Schultz said.

It appears Russillo thought he was staying in the condo. His charge is a misdemeanor and carries a maximum fine of $750.
While it isn’t a good look, it could have been far worse. Accustomed to seeing charges of battery and abuse, it doesn’t appear Russillo intended to do any harm. Certainly a scary moment for the couple staying in the condo, and slightly embarrassing for the ESPN radio host, but nothing that should cost him his job.
