Mountain West Football Games To Air On Facebook

College football fans will have a new way to take in games during the 2017 season, with the Mountain West Conference agreeing to a partnership with Facebook.
During the 2017 season, six Mountain West games will be broadcast live on the social media site, beginning on opening weekend.
We are continually exploring ways by which we can innovate and expand the visibility of our Conference membership,” said Mountain West Commissioner Craig Thompson in a statement. “Through our partnership with Stadium, we’re excited to offer our football product on the world’s most widely-used social media platform.”
Social media and the Mountain West is not a new concept, however. Last season, the conference became the first to air a live football game on Twitter.
Now, they’re look to expand their horizons and provide additional ways for fans to catch the action.
